As many of us look forward to bonfires and fireworks in a couple of days, I’m reminded how every young person has their own light — sometimes bright and bold, sometimes hidden behind the smoke.
In my coaching work, I see how the right support can help that light reappear: helping young people rebuild confidence, manage emotions, and reconnect with learning after periods of struggle or school avoidance.
Not every spark becomes a firework straight away — and that’s okay. With patience, understanding, and consistency, it can.
I’m grateful to be supporting young people through Hampshire’s Open Framework and EOTAS packages — and looking to connect with other schools and services who share that same commitment to helping every child shine.
