I attended another great conference with Dr. Tina Rae today, speaking about the use of a trauma informed approach with refugee children. I took away a great quote from her:
“We’re not asking teachers to be therapists but to be therapeutic in their approach.”
If every teacher was able to do this, imagine the impact on our children!
